LionDesk vs ProspectKeeper

A LionDesk alternative, now that LionDesk is gone

ProspectKeeper is built around the thing a CRM is supposed to protect: the client file that outlives the deal. Close one and the history, notes and next follow-up stay on the person, so repeat business opens beside the sale you already closed. Email, texting and calling are in the product, at a published price you can read without a sales call. If LionDesk's shutdown left you looking, this is what moving here gets you.

A partner who will tell you the truth

You have already had one CRM decided for you by somebody else's roadmap. So here is how we work: prices you can read without a call, month to month with no annual lock-in, a weekly live coaching group on the Coaching tier, and straight answers about what has not shipped yet before you commit rather than after. Small enough that you reach the people who build it.

Where ProspectKeeper is different

All of it ships today on ProspectKeeper Connect at $99/month — and the pipeline itself is free to start on, for as long as you like.

  • The client is the record, not the transaction

A contact can exist with no deal at all and still be worked. Close a deal and the history, notes and next follow-up stay on the person, so repeat business opens on the same file beside the sale you already closed. Every client also carries a filing number that stays readable years later.

  • The score is commission, not activity

Gross Commission Income is a first-class part of the product: a yearly goal per agent, commission tracked against it as deals close, and pacing that tells you how far ahead or behind you are while there is still time to act. Activity counts are a means here; the money earned is the score.

  • Email, texting and calling are in the product, not bolted on

Campaigns, two-way texting and a browser dialer with recording and voicemail are part of ProspectKeeper. You are not wiring up a separate mailer, a separate SMS tool and a separate dialer, and you are not paying a per-seat add-on to unlock them. Email sending is included in the plan; texting and calling are metered from one prepaid balance, so a quiet month costs less than a busy one.

  • Built for the handoff between four people

Telemarketer, agent, client care manager and closing coordinator are modelled as real roles on the record, each with their own dashboard and primary-assignment defaults — not as tags, and not as a note someone has to read. Most real-estate work crosses people, and the handoff is where it usually breaks.

Why choose ProspectKeeper

You already lost one CRM to a corporate roadmap decision, so the question worth asking about the next one is what it is actually for. ProspectKeeper is built around the client file that outlives the deal: close one and the history, notes and next follow-up stay on the person, so repeat business opens beside the sale you already closed. Email, texting and calling are in the product, priced from one prepaid balance, at $99 a month you can read on the pricing page.

Questions

Is ProspectKeeper a good LionDesk alternative?

It covers the daily work LionDesk was doing for most agents — contacts, pipeline, follow-up, email campaigns, two-way texting and a browser dialer — on published month-to-month pricing, and it keeps the client file after the deal closes rather than filing everything under the transaction. Your existing database comes across from a spreadsheet rather than being retyped.

What does moving to ProspectKeeper get me?

A client file that outlives the deal, so closing one leaves the history, notes and next follow-up on the person and repeat business opens beside the sale you already closed. Email campaigns, two-way texting and a browser dialer are in the product, drawing on one prepaid balance, and commission is tracked against a yearly goal with pacing.

When exactly did LionDesk shut down?

Lone Wolf Technologies announced the wind-down in May 2025 and discontinued the platform at the end of September 2025. A limited export portal was kept open afterwards for former customers to retrieve their data, but it was never described as permanent.

Can I still get my LionDesk data out?

Lone Wolf kept an export archive available to former LionDesk customers after the shutdown. If you have not retrieved your contacts yet, do that first — before choosing where they land.

Can I import that export into ProspectKeeper?

Your export comes straight across: download the template, map your columns and bring the contacts in from the spreadsheet. Given you are carrying an export from a platform that was switched off, write to hello@prospectkeeper.com before you commit and we will walk the move with you — you have already been let down once.
